WHAT ??? you are asking me to eat these 4 holey steamed egg plants?

I've a new domestic helper. Yesterday no one's home, so she only cooks for me, told her I just wanted something simple. Guess what she did?

I know, I got a shock too! WHAT ??? 4 holey steamed egg plants? What am I supposed to do with them? Munch on them ?

Before I started going real crazy, she used 2 forks to kinda of tear those egg plants apart. Then she pour in some sizzling fried garlic with oil, plus soya sauce & top up with red cut chilli. She ask me to taste. I did, & the rest is history.
This is now my favorite dish!

Time to get a larger landed property Dad?

Do you have pets? I'm sure you have, & how do you deal with them when they are dead? People usually flush their dead fishes down the toilet (I was told). If you have a garden, you probably buried them in the yard.

My dad puts the animals in Plastic containers (those that hawkers used when you take food home). Each beloved pet is buried in an aptly sized container & duct taped & buried in our garden. That is meant to ensure their eternal slumber remains undisturbed by other animals. If you have watched any TV series like  CSI or Bones, you could imagine the rotting flesh & gas, & you might be asking who is this helping? Not us when we imagine it. Definitely not the dead pets.

Instead of asking, we just accept it. My elder sister told me when I was younger :that this is part of becoming an adult, accepting our parents' illogical behaviors just as they accept ours. I could imagine the horrid from the future owners of our house when they start digging into the ground for new landscaping & discover all these plastic containers coffins!!! I used to know the location of every plastic coffin in the garden. Our favorite arowana died today & there's no more space in the ground. Time to get a larger landed property Dad?

Observations

I think my toe have been infected by some fungus.

I might have dandruff. Cant confirm on these two but probability is there.

And this is only the 5th day of my China trip!

I love Deadpool & dont like those self righteous super heros!

After all the Star Wars fuss, we now have a new & much cooler super hero movie- DeadPool. Watch that on Valentines Day & it's so cool & super funny! Me & my friends love it. The best part is, he's not the same old self-righteous hero you so often get.

Talking about self righteous heroes. Two came to mind. It's the TV series Flash (star Grant Gustin)  & Arrow (Stephen Amell ). Both feature very good looking guys but the characters are so damn righteous, it's frustrating watching them- makes me mad !

DeadPool is my new favorite superhero. Well Ironman (Robert Downey Jr) is another super favorite. Genius playboy billionaire, funny & not self righteous , what's there not to love about this character.

Now waiting for Super man vs Batman, saw the trailer. Looks interesting :))

Who's your favorite Star Wars Character ?

Have you been ask that, like a billion times? What's the big deal? Truth is I find that movie very confusing, too many characters & galaxies & battles etc....  I cant catch up with who's fighting with who & where are all of them from.

My friend came back from vacation & she literally 'almost' bought the whole set of Star Wars soft

toys at the airport! A couple were out of stock ! I reminded her the movie IP Man 3 has just out-sold Star Wars here in Singapore. I guess many people are just like me, we don't get what's the fuss all about.But I dont mind if she'll to give me one of the storm tropper :))

Travelling this year could be compromised.

Wonder what will this year bring for us or me to be exact. I've saved up some money , hoping to go visit some nice places with my friends. But the recent bombings & freak cold weather  is making this a little difficult. Dont tell me we have to go BKK again??? Even that's not safe anymore right? Oh, no.... Stay home again???

Happy Birthday to the BEST MuM !!!

Have been thinking of it for the past last week. The increment of my allowance depends on it, so you get how important that is right? All my friends agree ...lol... What's limiting us is that we have next to nothing left over for any decent gift, for such an occasion , after we've spent all our allowances- which we usually do each month.

Of course we go to our dads for help. Vice verse for father's B-day, we go to our mums for a little something extra. Savings? You are kidding right? With our very modest allowance, how do we save? Someone suggest I give mum a hug ....lol.... no money can buy that right? Boy if I do that, I can see no future for my allowance of ever increasing.

In the end I made a card, complete with some soppy message. Also I bake a cake with the help of my maid...lol.. that really got to my mum! She almost cried, she was so touched! Me baking a cake for her - I could hear her calling her friends to show off ....hehehehehehhe.....
